Proven Check Valve technology effectively eliminates the back flow of sap from the tubing system. Sap that leaves the hole during short sap runs cannot be pulled back by the tree as it freezes. Contaminated sap from the tubing system is prevented from being pulled back into trees, extending the sugaring season and substantially increasing sap production.

The 5/16" red plug tee with a right-side blocked outlet is designed for installation at the end of maple tubing lateral lines. Its configuration allows producers to create a loop around the tree while preventing sap flow through the closed section, reducing stagnant sap and minimizing potential leak points. The red color provides quick visual identification of the end of the lateral line during installation and maintenance. The integrated plug also allows the system to be fully sealed during cleaning and sanitation procedures at the end of the season.
