The 5/16" red plug tee with a right-side blocked outlet is designed for installation at the end of maple tubing lateral lines. Its configuration allows producers to create a loop around the tree while preventing sap flow through the closed section, reducing stagnant sap and minimizing potential leak points. The red color provides quick visual identification of the end of the lateral line during installation and maintenance.
